Tricycle Collective 20-20 Campaign: Launched!

From September 11-30th we are launching a fundraising and awareness-raising campaign

In 20 days, we’ll collect $20,000 to help 20 families buy their homes back from auction.

This year, we will be supporting more Detroiters than ever, knocking on hundreds of doors with to make sure those whose homes in foreclosure know about the auction and what they can do about it. We’ll also be spreading the word with articles, data analysis, and local events to expand the conversation on this issue.

The auction and the risk it poses are bigger than ever and our efforts aren’t nearly enough to make a difference in the broader picture. However, we are driven by the knowledge that helping to save the home of a child and to returning hope, empathy and empowerment to their parents is a cause worthy of pursuing in whatever humble capacity it manifests. With small conversations, individual interactions, and new awareness, we are making a difference. For anything you are willing to do to support that work, thank you.
